Helping the helpers

You don't have to explain the job here

We've worn the badge, answered the call at all hours, waited up at home, and supported fire crews from the inside. Between us, we've lived this life from every side: the shifts, the calls, and what they cost at home.

Job-related stress & trauma

Care for the cumulative weight of critical incidents, hard calls, and the culture around them.

Relationships & family

Couples and family work for the people who carry the job alongside you, ages 14 and up.

Culturally attuned care

Counselors who understand rank, shift work, and why asking for help can feel like a risk.

Our therapy dog

Meet Moose

Moose is a Sheepadoodle trained as both a therapy and service dog in deep pressure therapy (DPT). He's trained to recognize the signs of activation that come with a trauma response, and to offer calming, grounding pressure when it's needed.

He's also a calm, friendly presence in the office. For a lot of people, a dog in the room makes that first visit a little easier.

Moose can join your session by request. If you bring your own service animal to session, Moose will not be available.
